Donate to the Powell River Centre for Acquired and Traumatic Brain Injury

Brain injury is far too common. On average in British Columbia there are 12,000 acquired brain injuries each year. That is 30 people a day in our province whose lives are forever changed! Multiply that by the average family size, add friends and caregivers and you come up with over 100 people every single day whose lives are forever altered in an instant.

Acquired brain injury accounts for more deaths than everything else combined! Think about it ...more than cancer, more than AIDS, more then heart disease. And, acquired brain injury is grossly under funded.

The Powell River Brain Injury Society is the only non-profit solely dedicated agency providing service and support to this population.

There are many ways to help. You could become a member, make a donation, and include us in your life plans. Every bit helps. No amount is too small. Help us continue to provide quality service in the Powell River area. You will receive our newsletter and any other information distributed throughout the year. You will also receive information about our Society activities.
